Trailing the Crystal Reports 2011 Release

After trailing the new release of Crystal Reports, I have to say I am a tad bit disappointed.

Basically I have to say that Crystal Reports 2011 is more or less the same as Crystal Reports 2008, with regards to the interface and functionality.

They have added a couple of new file export formats, Read Only and Microsft Excel 2007, and a few more datasources.

You can read more about this release and the future releases of Crystal Reports 2011 here.

But the question is with these few additions is it really worth coughing up the upgrade fee of  270?

Personally I think I'll wait for a SAP to add a few more bells and whistles.
