Its Gold Again!!!!!!!!!.

Julia Emelogu has just won the presigous Institute of IT Training Freelance Trainer of the Year Gold Award.

The spectacular annual award dinner ceremony was held at the Dorchester hotel, Park Lane, London, last night, and is the oscars for the training industry.

The IITT awards honours those individuals and organisations who have really shone in the past year and celebrates their excellent achievements.

The judges were particularly looking for examples of freelance trainers who have carried out assignments for their clients that are both exceptional and innovative.

The judges commented:
"You only have one chance to make a first impression - and Julia's fantastic energy, passion and commitment go to make the first impression of her so positive.

Julia is able to sustain that goodwill with her strong technical skills and they are supported by outstanding training delivery skills

Julia demonstrated a full appreciation of the scope of the trainer's role, its duties and responsibilities, and an understanding of what the client really wants.

She has an excellent consultative style"

This is the second time that Julia has won this coverted award, and is first trainer to do so in the history of the IITT awards.

Julia says "I am really ecstatic that I have won this coveted prestigous award a second time.

I am really passionate about ensuring that my clients get the best value for money when delivering training projects.

The award submission was based on creating training solutions that deliver customer-focussed learning experiences to clients which consist of:
  • Understanding the specific training needs of the clients,

  • Testing the current level of knowledge and skills of the delegates,

  • Understanding the systems they use and what is stopping them achieving the organisation outputs,

  • Creating a bespoke training solution to deliver the required topics to fill the organisational skills gap

  • Evaluating the effect of the training after the learning experience, and

  • Full free 6 month web, email and phone post-course support

With the economy being in such bad state, training needs to be relevant, and deliver better value and quality for money to ensure that employees are effective, efficient and confident to keep their organisations competitive.

The one size fits all approach of delivering training via public schedule courses, is not the best way to ensure effective skills transfer"
